2018-2019 School Year

Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of the staff at Ferguson Hall Freshman School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year! We are incredibly excited to begin our second year as a stand-alone school. This promises to be a year filled with opportunities for all of our students as we strive to find ways to help every student grow and learn.

As the principal of Ferguson Hall, I am excited and eager to collaborate with you as partners in education to promote success for all students. Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by Beavercreek City Schools by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners.  We will focus on improving academic achievement and promoting character education initiatives to support positive behaviors and good citizenship for all students. To support the academic and social/emotional needs of all students, we will foster a professional learning environment through a shared vision and collaboration. As we prepare for the first day of school, I recommend reviewing the student code of conduct (on our website) with your child as we work together to provide a solid foundation for your child’s high school experience.

It is important to me as building principal that everyone who steps through our doors - teachers, students, parents and community members - is excited to be here!  I recognize that you know your child best and want to partner with you to provide a positive educational experience. This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.  My door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to call or email me to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.

I look forward to working with you to help students at Ferguson Hall meet their goals and have a successful school year!

Regards,

Mrs. Sweet
